Sustainable products framework & materials guidance for a global luggage company

BRODIE supported to develop and implement the Sustainable Product Framework, a structured approach to improving product and material sustainability.

We helped identify priority materials and risks, review stakeholder expectations and develop “Good, Better, Best” materials criteria and guidance.

We also supported implementation through stakeholder engagement and training to ensure consistent application across teams.

This enabled them to embed clear, actionable sustainability requirements into product design and sourcing decisions, driving more consistent, scalable impact across its global portfolio.

Circular economy strategy

BRODIE has been working with this major European retailer, to develop a clear, practical circular economy strategy.

While the company has made strong progress on product sustainability, activity to date has been fragmented rather than driven by a coherent long-term vision.

We are supporting the Product team to define a 2030 circularity ambition and develop a product circularity framework and guidance for embedding requirements across procurement.

This is enabling them to move from ad hoc initiatives to a structured, scalable approach to product sustainability, aligned to a clear long-term strategy.
