BRODIE’s Nature offer

We help clients navigate the emerging focus on nature, addressing material impacts & dependencies

Though nature as a standalone topic may feel new, our team has a wealth of experience tackling the core issues: water, land use and biodiversity.

We understand that nature can feel daunting to tackle. We support clients to manage the complexity by bringing a pragmatic approach so the most impactful action can be taken.

Deforestation - free sourcing capability building

BRODIE partnered with Starbucks to provide strategic and technical support to design and implement a global commodity traceability programme across palm, cocoa, dairy and paper.

This included working sessions, software selection and implementation support, and supplier engagement guidance. Key outputs included commodity insight papers, deforestation decision tools, and detailed supplier engagement recommendations.

This equipped Starbucks with the capabilities, tools, and expertise to build robust deforestation-free sourcing practices across its global supply chain.

Nature disclosure assessment

BRODIE has been a strategic sustainability partner to Diageo since 2019. Diageo has a strong record of robust, data-driven sustainability work through its “Spirit of Progress” strategy.

To provide direction for their future environmental reporting, BRODIE conducted a benchmark of peer nature disclosures, grounded in the TNFD framework, and assessed Diageo’s current performance against this.

The insights from this work helped Diageo enhance its reporting on nature and demonstrate leadership among peers.
