Job Title: Senior Analyst

Location: London, Farringdon
Hours: Full time (40-hour week with minimum three days a week in the office)
About the Senior Analyst Role
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our team. You will have a genuine passion for making a difference and a desire to work with the business world to achieve that. You will be interested and inquisitive, have excellent communications skills and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Senior Analysts are an integral part of the BRODIE team, working on UK and international client projects.
You will be a critical thinker adept in building trusted client relationships across short- and long-term projects and have a consistent record of delivery to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
You will be working on a range of strategy, engagement, communications, and operational projects for UK-based and international clients.
Contributing to a broad range of national and international projects; you will need to be comfortable working with both data and narrative content and able to easily translate complex information into engaging insights.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Client project delivery (80%)
Shaping (with support) and then conducting desk-research on a wide range of focuses including sustainability topics and company performance
Undertaking research and analysis of environmental and social risks and drawing out key insights for clients
Analysing regulatory requirements and ensuring alignment with evolving sustainability legislation
Analysing quantitative data and information, forming summaries and opinions from the data
Writing briefing papers for clients on key topics
Managing projects with support of senior colleagues
Managing agendas and minutes for client meetings
Supporting end-to-end delivery of public-facing reports, both sustainability and issue-specific
2. Business Development (5%)
Support on the development of project pitches and proposals
Tightening the visual presentation of BRODIE documents in line with our brand guidelines
3. Knowledge management and continuous learning (10%)
Share research and insights with the wider team and developing areas of expertise
Prepare presentations, research materials and written reports
4. Organisational Management (5%)
Support delivery of projects in line with the overall BRODIE processes and systems
Provide support for analysts offering practical advice and encouragement
Attend BRODIE team meetings and training, project updates and trainings
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have the desire to be part of a small yet fast-growing company and have a proven track-record of corporate sustainability with a minimum of 18 months’ relevant experience.
While not essential experience in ESG/sustainability reporting, communications and project management is desirable.
Skills and experience
A minimum of 18 months’ experience working in corporate sustainability either in house or consultancy (or closely connected field)
Educated to bachelor’s degree level
Good knowledge of issues surrounding environmental and social topics. Examples of topics may include climate change, nature, or human rights.
Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
Skilled in building trust with colleagues and clients
Understanding of, and keen to collaborate in the challenges and opportunities of working as a team player in a fast-paced, growing company.
Desirable skills and experience
Familiarity with the recommendations of key disclosure standards e.g. CSRD, CSDDD, TCF, TNFD, SASB, SBT would be a welcome advantage
Working knowledge of AI tools, including their capabilities, limitations and responsible use considerations

Salary £43,000 - £48,000, dependent on experience
